Dipankar Ghosh

Dipankar is a Partner and Leader in the Sustainability and ESG practice at BDO in India.
He has over 35 years of experience leading solutions and teams in areas including ESG, sustainability and human development, climate action, resource efficiency, sustainable technology, renewable energy, and climate financing. He has provided advisory services to corporations, governments, multilateral and bilateral agencies, and not-for-profits on sustainability-related matters. 

Dipankar has developed and led the sustainability practice of a leading global professional services firm, initially in India and later in the Middle East and North African region, which involved advising marquee clients across diverse sectors such as metallurgy & mining, power & utility, oil & gas, chemicals & fertilisers, cement, pulp & paper, manufacturing, agro-processing, automotive, real estate, health care, transportation, construction, biofuel, telecom, IT/ITES, and financial services. Prior to joining BDO in India, Dipankar also established and led the sustainability and climate change practice at a boutique consulting firm along with his team.
 
He is a respectable thought leader on the subject and frequently participates as a speaker or moderator at conferences. Additionally, he collaborates with industry associations for policy advocacy.
