Alert - Government of Karnataka unveils dedicated GCC Policy

Karnataka GCC Policy 2024-2029

Karnataka is home to over 875 Global Capability Centres (GCCs), playing a crucial role in India’s GCC ecosystem. Bengaluru, in particular, is recognised as the world’s second-largest hub for AI talent. On 19 November 2024, Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah officially launched the final version of the Karnataka GCC Policy 2024-29 at the Bengaluru Tech Summit. This policy aims to further solidify Karnataka’s leadership position in the global GCC landscape, with a special emphasis on expanding beyond Bengaluru to cities such as Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad-Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Tumakuru, and Shivamogga.

Our experts, at BDO in India, have analysed and summarised the key aspects of the said policy.
